Duet
,
Duet classes are offered in 9-week sessions. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes.
Toddlers ages 2 to 3 and their parent or caretaker dance together while focusing on rhythm, movement, music and fun!
Duet classes introduce the concepts of spatial awareness and cooperation within a ballet classroom. Students learn simple dance moves while developing their focus and coordination. Building body awareness and confidence is encouraged with group exercises.
Simple musical instruments along with fun and educational props are used to introduce rhythmical timing, taking turns, moving in different directions and physical skills like jumping and galloping. Duet classes incorporate both individual and partner work within the class structure.
