Student Division
The Student Division consists of Level I through VIII, beginning at age 8. Auditions are required for Level I and above or for students age 8 years or older. Classes in this division are carefully graded by age, physical strength and development.

Pre-Ballet III

Pre-Ballet students are introduced to ballet steps and terminology and the basics of dance. Posture and correct body alignment is emphasized as students begin to build a solid foundation for classical ballet training. Pre-Ballet students participate in PNB School’s culminating Petite Finale performances each spring. Students enrolled in Pre-Ballet are evaluated in the spring by PNBS faculty, in consultation with the School Principals, for suitability to the demands of Level I in the Student Division. Promotion to Level I in the PNBS Student Division is by invitation only.
