All Summer Saturday program classes will be themed around the magical fairy world featured in the ballet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The 5-week session culminates with an informal mini performance featuring choreography and props related to the theme.

Summer Duet I (Seattle)

Duet classes meet once a week for 45 minutes for 5 weeks.
Duet classes introduce the concepts of spatial awareness and cooperation within a ballet classroom. Students learn simple dance moves while developing their focus and coordination. Building body awareness and confidence is encouraged with group exercises.
Simple musical instruments along with fun and educational props are used to introduce rhythmical timing, taking turns, moving in different directions and physical skills like jumping and galloping. Duet classes incorporate both individual and partner work within the class structure.
Dress Code: Non-restrictive clothing, please wear dance shoes or socks in the studio. Please note: Do not use fabric softeners when laundering dance attire; it damages our studio floors.
*This class is open to currently enrolled Duet students or new students who will turn 2 by August 31, 2026.
