Re-Envisioning Giselle


“Re-Envisioning Giselle” is a day-long symposium at the University of Washington featuring eight presentations relating to the Romantic-era ballet Giselle (Paris, 1841) by leading scholars and practitioners. Adjunct events will be offered on surrounding days. The symposium is offered in conjunction with Pacific Northwest Ballet’s performances of Giselle, April 10‒12 and 16‒19 at Seattle’s McCaw Hall.

“Re-Envisioning Giselle” is generously sponsored by Patty Edwards, the University of Washington School of Music and Simpson Center for the Humanities, and Princeton University.

The Walter Ames Room at Kane Hall is on the University of Washington Campus.  Event Duration:  8:45am - 4:30pm
